In 1996, two members of the Lewisboro Garden Club collaborated with the Town Maintenance supervisor and reestablished the Community Garden that existed at Onatru years before. The Community Garden is an enclosed area that has 24 raised beds and 24 in-ground plots for use by Lewisboro Town residents to grow organic vegetables and flowers.  The garden plots are available at no charge to Town residents. There is also a cedar tool shed with donated tools for gardeners to use and herbs, rhubarb, and horseradish can be found in a repurposed cold frame area adjoining the shed.
The Garden Club oversees the Community Garden.  For information on how to obtain a garden plot contact us at: Lewisborogardenclub@outlook.com
